The 2009-2014 Outlook for Food-Allergy and Intolerance Products in Oceana

The 2009-2014 Outlook for Food-Allergy and Intolerance Products in Oceana Review

See more picture

This econometric study covers the outlook for food-allergy and intolerance products in Oceana. For each year reported, estimates are given for the latent demand, or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.), for the country in question (in millions of U.S. dollars), the percent share the country is of the region and of the globe. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a country vis-a-vis others. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each country and across countries, latent demand estimates are created. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.

This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the countries in Oceana). This study gives, however, my estimates for the latent demand, or the P.I.E. for food-allergy and intolerance products in Oceana. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided across the national markets of Oceana. For each country, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time (positive or negative growth). In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on international strategic planning at graduate schools of business.

Alcoholism As An Allergy

Alcoholism As An Allergy Review

See more picture

This is the allergy that Dr. Silkworth calls "The obsession of the mind which compels them to drink and the allergy of the body that condemns then to go mad or die. There is one symptom in common, the phenomenon of craving. This phenomenon may be the manifestation of an allergy which differentiates these people.

Why is alcoholism treated as a mental illness, when no barrier exists between the body and the brain?

The Asthma and Allergy Action Plan for Kids : A Complete Program to Help Your Child Live a Full and Active Life

The Asthma and Allergy Action Plan for Kids : A Complete Program to Help Your Child Live a Full and Active Life Review

See more picture

Statistics show that up to 40 percent of children in the United States suffer from allergies and at least 10 percent suffer from asthma. That translates into almost five million American children affected by both allergies and asthma. And as Dr. Allen J. Dozor, head of one of the largest pediatric pulmonary practices in the United States, has seen among his patients, some of the most upsetting effects of allergies and asthma are the psychological wounds inflicted on a child's self-image. There is the constant protectiveness from caregivers, confusing limits and rules, headaches, obesity, shortness of breath, and sleep deprivation. In some cases these side effects, such as stress and obesity, cycle back to make the original condition worse.

Dr. Dozor's plan, developed over the last twenty years, is designed to empower both parents and children. His warmhearted but reality-based approach includes

  • How to give the right amount of medication for best effects and no side effects
  • Empowering your children to manage their own condition so that they can feel safe and secure
  • Prevention and management in school
  • Handling emergencies

And much more!

The 2011-2016 Outlook for Allergy Drugs in Japan

The 2011-2016 Outlook for Allergy Drugs in Japan Review

See more picture

This econometric study covers the latent demand outlook for allergy drugs across the prefectures and cities of Japan. Latent demand (in millions of U.S. dollars), or potential industry earnings (P.I.E.) estimates are given across some 1,000 cities in Japan. For each city in question, the percent share the city is of it's prefecture and of Japan is reported. These comparative benchmarks allow the reader to quickly gauge a city vis-a-vis others. This statistical approach can prove very useful to distribution and/or sales force strategies. Using econometric models which project fundamental economic dynamics within each prefecture and city, latent demand estimates are created for allergy drugs. This report does not discuss the specific players in the market serving the latent demand, nor specific details at the product level. The study also does not consider short-term cyclicalities that might affect realized sales. The study, therefore, is strategic in nature, taking an aggregate and long-run view, irrespective of the players or products involved.

This study does not report actual sales data (which are simply unavailable, in a comparable or consistent manner in virtually all of the cities in Japan). This study gives, however, my estimates for the latent demand, or the P.I.E., for allergy drugs in Japan. It also shows how the P.I.E. is divided and concentrated across the cities and regional markets of Japan. For each prefecture, I also show my estimates of how the P.I.E. grows over time. In order to make these estimates, a multi-stage methodology was employed that is often taught in courses on strategic planning at graduate schools of business.
